It may be Monday, but CeeLo Green still has the weekend on his mind. The Grammy-winning crooner unleashes “Sunday Shoes,” his latest soulful jam, which details some of his early memories.

The mellow and melodic track is a stroll down memory lane, with flashes of Sunday mornings and trips to church.

“A sweet lil song about humble beginnings,” explained CeeLo. “I was made a man by some very great women. I dedicate this one to Atlanta SUNDAY SHOES. Enjoy.”

“Sunday Shoes” follows the November release of CeeLo’s fifth studio album Heart Blanche. The 15-track set includes “Working Class Heroes,” which will also appear on the soundtrack to Barbershop: The Next Cut.
